Hey Mindful Connectors! I'm talking to my long-time friend Greg Goldner. He's doing big things these days. We're talking about the Freak Brothers today! It's so good -- I mean the show and my conversation with Greg. I can't choose, LOL!

Greg Goldner, Greg is currently the Chief Brand and Strategy Officer of The Freak Brothers, where he is responsible for all aspects of The Freak Brothers brand, including marketing, partnerships, and the overall execution of the company’s vision.

He's also a Producer of the hit animated TV show that recently launched Season 2 and is now streaming in 38 countries worldwide. Goldner has spent nearly two decades at the intersection of entertainment and brand building. Having built strategies and launched products for some of the biggest companies in the world, he has a deep understanding of engaging consumers to drive meaningful business growth.

Listen, I've been connected to Greg for over ten years. He's always said yes to me when I've reached out to ask for help or to participate in something. Sometimes, you can't even get your real family to show up. But Greg hasn't failed me yet. I can't wait for you to hear our conversation.

  • Ep. 8 - Amparo Vazquez + Monique LaRue: The Gaslighting Chronicles: Work Edition Part 1
    Oct 1 2023

Amparo Vazquez, the visionary founder of BIPOC-CX, dedicates herself to collaborating with impact-driven BIPOC leaders. Her mission is to nurture businesses, teams, and environments around wholeness, authenticity, safety, and service.

Central to Amparo's philosophy are the principles of social liberation, which empower genuinely visionary leaders to forge a fresh paradigm for business. This paradigm prioritizes cooperation over competition people over profit, and embraces a win-win-win approach rather than a self-centered me-me-me perspective.

Driven by the belief that true success is intricately linked to the liberation and genuine well-being of all, Amparo and her community are steadfast in their commitment to build a new world collectively. It's the world their ancestors dreamt of—a world of unity and prosperity for all.

  • Ep. 6 Mike Buckman + Monique LaRue: It's good to be SEEN: A DEI Perspective with a Former CEO
    Sep 12 2023

Listen, I am super excited to have this conversation with my buddy of over 20+ years and my champion Mike Buckman.

Mike Buckman is the driving force behind Buckman Consulting LLC, a trailblazing firm specializing in travel, logistics, and payment systems. Mike has left an indelible mark on the industry with remarkable career-spanning leadership roles.

Before launching his consulting venture in 2009, Mike's journey was intertwined with innovation. His tenure at BCD Travel saw him rise to President of Asia/Pacific and, before that, CEO from 2001 to 2007. Earlier, he steered the ship at Worldspan as CEO from 1995 to 1999. His strategic vision also shaped the landscapes of iconic brands like Homestore.com, American Express, Sabre Travel Services, and American Airlines.

Amidst this impressive portfolio, Mike's legacy extends far beyond corporate titles. His open-door ethos, a defining trait during his tenure as CEO at Worldspan, impacted my life as a young black female professional. Against all odds, Mike's unexpected response to my introduction email led to a transformative lunch discussing my aspirations. His genuine gesture resonated deeply, becoming a cornerstone in my professional journey as chronicled in my book, "Baby Your Gift Will Make Room for You." Our bond, nurtured over time, flourished into a friendship I will always cherish.

Mike Buckman is a humble and true champion who embodies the spirit of breaking barriers and fostering connections.

  • Ep.5 - Amanda Leigh Doueihi + Monique LaRue: Spirituality, Shame & Sexuality: Part 1
    Jul 27 2023

To say this conversation has to continue is an underSTATEMENT; Amanda Leigh Doueihi (Dway-he) is your wing-woman in love, life, and business. She founded Ask Astarte, a community she created where women feel safe to explore their sexuality, needs, and desires without fear of repercussion or judgment. Amanda's core value is belonging, and she thrives on community. Her mission is to remind women about sacred, conscious sexuality. Whether they choose celibacy or to be sexually active.

Amanda grew up within a strict Maronite Catholic Lebanese community in Sydney, Australia. While she now deeply appreciates her heritage, she also recognizes the challenges that existed, and continue to, for those of us raised in two worlds.

She spent eight years in New York working as a lawyer and found that time away helped her to come home to herself and discover who she was outside of the noise of expectations.

She has almost completed studying for a VITA coaching certification in love, sex, and intimacy at The Tantric Institute of Integrated Sexuality. Amanda takes pleasure in helping to guide you to feel comfortable in your desires, whatever they may be.
