I sat down with Saul and Adrian Castellanos to talk about their brand, Tequila Azulillo and the means through which Tequila Azulillo came to be. Saul and Adrian discuss with me the learning process and some of the trials they went through to realize their project. 

We also taste the different expressions of Tequila Azulillo, from their staple tequila blanco, through their reposado, añejo, extra añejo, cristalino, and their newest uncommon expression, raicilla.

Traditional Mezcales have a unique place and significance in the realm of mezcal and agave spirits. I sat down with Diego Garcia to talk about his influential project Curaduria Mezcalnautas, and how he personally curates and champions.  We're also joined by one of his partners, Bernardo Serna. Together they established the mezcalería Tlecan in Roma Norte, Mexico City. This is a place where you can come and experience the marvelous selection of Curaduria Mezcalnauta in an enjoyable space devoted to the tradition and story of different mezcales and agave spirits.

Ubish Yaren joins me in this episode of the Mezcal Buzz Experience. Ubish is a chef and food tour guide, who has some knowledge and experience in Mezcal tasting and experiences as well. Ubish shares with me some of the adjustments he's made during the pandemic to cope with the loss of tourism. But his creativity and drive to succeed have allowed him to pursue new work opportunities and projects. We dive into how he has turned Tiktok into a new gig, and how he plans to continue to expand in that realm.   We also discuss how his persistence and meticulous social media research led his then Podcast called La Crónica de Tacos to turn into a feature appearance in the Netflix documentary series The Taco Chronicles.
