As a school counsellor for over 16 years, anxiety is the number one issue that I help my teenagers with. Anxiety is normal. It comes from our biology. Anxiety comes from our thoughts. Our kids need to express their fears so they can process their feelings and thoughts. As parents, even if we are uncomfortable, our kids need to express their fears.
