    In February 2024, Ks for Kenya took place 7 runners relay ran from Byron Bay to Newcastle in Australia. Raising over $46,000 for Kenyan Young People.


    Ben Flint and I (Jared Hughes) were both committee members who contributed to the organising and running of the week long event. We made a lot of mistakes and wanted to share them with those who may be planning a charity event like this.

  • #1 - Meet the man who travelled Australia for over 20 years

    Nick travelled Australia from age 19 to 41. He's looped around the continent and travelled the east coast multiple times, one of which journeys was on a $99 Big W bike with a trailer on the back for his dog. He rode from Brisbane to Melbourne in 7 months busking along the way to afford food. Nick shared both the light and dark of his 2 decades of travel, opening up about his toughest times when he lost his dog in an accident and began drinking heavily to escape his depression. Nick also shared moments of light such as when he gambled for the first time and instantly turned $5 into $650 which he then used to buy a new dog which he loved dearly until...
