The Jets got a Christmas miracle when four teams that needed to lose did so in gracious fashion. It's looking like a mirror image of 2009, but with one glaring difference: the Jets absolutely CANNOT start their young quarterback in here. They owe it to the rest of that team not to lie to their faces and say "this is our best chance to win". No, your best chance is anyone BUT him.

Zach Wilson played so abysmally last night, and was followed by a guy with far less talent that did as much in 2 drives as Wilson did in 3 quarters (and much more in some respects), that this absolutely has to be the end of the experiment as currently constituted. Zach just cannot be the guy without earning it any longer - the time has come to pick the 52 over the 1.

Two years ago, the Jets were 0-13 and people were already imagining him with his long flowing golden locks in green. But it wasn't meant to be as the Jets, as they inevitably do, blew it and lost out on the future (and now current) star quarterback. Just another day in the life of a Jets fan.

Everyone say it with me - SAME. OLD. JETS. It was a Same Old Jets clinic late in the 4th quarter in what was otherwise just a team outplayed by its opponent. This game was a failure on the parts of all three phases of the game, the coaching staff, and yes, the quarterback. He's not fully to blame, but he's in the mix too. Just a complete disaster.

Can anything go right for this franchise? Now Mike White is hurt, and you couldn't have scripted it any better for Zach to sneak in there and get a start. Can we now say that there HAS to be a concern for White's durability? Also, a preview of this week's game against the red hot Detroit Lions.
