19thC Tennessee history podcast

Podcast about the history of the ground held by the Trust south of Nashville. Franklin, one of the last large scale battles of the American Civil War in 1864. Usually taking the format of interviews with knowledgeable guides, local historians and staff of the Trust - the variety of voices and perspectives is a real strength. They cover history before the war, the Trust maintains historic houses where people were enslaved, the battle itself and Reconstruction. I really appreciate the care and detail in the storytelling.
