The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett

By: DOAC
  • Summary

  • A few years ago I was a broke, university dropout, at 18 I built an industry leading social media marketing company, and at 27 I resigned as CEO. At 28 I co-founded Flight Story – a marketing and communications company, and thirdweb - a software platform, making it easy to build web3 applications. I then launched private equity fund, Flight Fund, to accelerate the next generation of European unicorns. During this time I decided to launch 'The Diary Of A CEO' podcast with the simple mission of providing an unfiltered journey into the remarkable stories and untold dimensions of the world’s most influential people, experts and thinkers. Thank you for listening. My New Book: https://g2ul0.app.link/DOAC IG: https://www.instagram.com/steven LI: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stevenbartlett-123

  • Steven Shares’s His Secret Diary: Dealing With Liam Payne’s Death, My Big Relationship Issue, These 4 Words Saved Me!
    Nov 24 2024
STEVEN’S DIARY IS BACK! It’s been a long time, since I’ve done this. In this episode I talk about heartbreak, grief, business challenges, relationship struggles, advice from Sir David Brailsford and protecting my mental health - all of it is unfiltered. When I first started The Diary Of A CEO, the central idea of the show, was to read my personal diary every week – I believed that It might be interesting to get to see inside the very personal diary of someone that was running a business with hundreds of team members, at 25ish years old, while contending with all of life’s problems, relationships, mental health challenges, mistakes, business issues, family problems, and more. So late on Sunday night once in a while, I would pull up a microphone in my old apartment, and I would read through my diary for 45 minutes or an hour. The Diary Of A CEO took on a life of it’s own, I went from reading my diary, to interviewing other people about their diaries, to speaking to experts about all the problems that I cared about. But every single week, someone will come up to me and tell me they found value in those early episodes, and they’ll ask me if I would ever share my diary again… So this weekend, I finally decided to give it go. This episode is my diary. The original, Diary Of A CEO. • Moment 188: The Real Reason You're Always Tired: Professor Guy Leschziner
    Nov 22 2024
In this moment, the world-renowned expert in Neurology and Sleep Medicine, Professor Guy Leschziner outline why sleep is crucial to every aspect of your life, and the biggest mistake people make when it comes to get a good night’s sleep. Humans spend a third of their lives sleeping, however science still understands very little about it. Guy says that sleep is of fundamental importance to humans otherwise evolution would have removed it. Despite its importance, Guy thinks that people underestimate the power of sleep. He’s says that too often people make lifestyle choices that ensure they will have the worst possible sleep, which can then impact everything from their immune system, cardiovascular system, and mental health. Very interesting

I don't know much about AI, but I am now both excited and slightly afraid, but I will now be doing lots of my own reading and research into it. I think it could hopefully be used to make a business out of, so that's whatcI will be trying.

Brilliant guests put at the centre of the pod and challenged / allowed to open up by Steven and the team behind him.

Fantastic. Perfect timing

I sense Steven starts out quite sceptical as I did.Yet Jessie explains the simple science behind glucose spikes and their short and long term effects on our health. it has changed my outlook completely and I am a huge fan. I have bought her book and spread the word throughout my family and I have good reason as I'm sat in A&E having had a heart attack as I write this review. interestingly, our beautiful NHS are offering me cereal for breakfast, puddings for lunch and zero salads options. I'm not blaming them but their low fat education needs to change fast. the end of the book made me sob as I'm here, right now, fighting for a future and needing to say all of the things I should have said.
