  • Arthur catches up with John Keenan, a stalwart of the Leeds Music Scene for many decades - most notably the promoter of legendary Leeds music venue The Duchess. We thought it would be nice to have a proper in depth chat about all the great memories and experiences so many of us had during that time. With Leeds Civic Trust recently awarding the venue a Blue Plaque, we thought now would be good time!

    This episode focuses on the many indie names that played the venue between 1988 and 2000, including The Wedding Present, Half Man Half Biscuit, Oasis, Blur, The Charlatans and Nirvana among others.
