  • For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by what builds greatness. I love striving for it, being around it, immersing myself in it, and listening to the inspiring ways that successful people figure it out. Over the last 10 years of my life, one of my greatest motivators has been seeking out the life stories of people I admire, and spending hours soaking in the depth of their journeys as I push through the trenches of my own. The aha moments, the failures, the wins, the struggles, the joy, the pain, the love, the anger, the breakdowns, the losses, the rebuilds, the plot twists… and everything else that comes with an immense commitment to being the best we can be. In moments where I have felt completely alone on my path to my greatest dreams, finding the stories of people who also have a unique path has made me realize that we are so much more alike than we are different. What we see on the outside is such a fraction of what it takes to get there… and the road to our achievements is really where WE LIVE. In these stories of greatness, I have found the inspiration to begin, to keep going, to reach higher, to go harder, and even to know when to quit and move on. Listening has been a powerful tool not only in my healing, but in my ability to find continued success… and now, I want to be a part of passing on this gift! THE COME UP is a podcast where I will be sitting down with inspirational, successful, and accomplished people who are willing and open to sharing the journey of their greatness with the world. Unfiltered, unscripted, and REAL. My goal is to make listeners feel seen, heard, supported, and in community through creating this conversational space where great stories can be shared.

    THE CHRISTOPHER DEAN!

    Bio Christopher Dean, a University of Alabama graduate and 2002 Senior of the Year, received his introduction to the professional performing world when Lord Andrew Lloyd Weber tapped him as a member of Norwegian Cruise Line’s original cast for The Dawn. After, Christopher moved to New York City where he performed in Broadway and regional productions including West Side Story, Grease!, The Music Man, Beauty and the Beast, and Carousel. Soon after, he joined the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world Famous Rockettes and would later become associate producer for their summer education programs. His choreography has been seen in the Orange Bowl Half Time show in collaboration with Cris Judd and at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He has appeared in New York Fashion Week's Heatherette and Marc Jacobs shows, OK! Magazine and the CNBC Cruise Ship Documentary "Cruise Inc.". Christopher appeared on season 9 of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” for a group date as a pageant coach. Christopher choreographed and performed in productions of Annie Get Your Gun and The a Christmas Story at the Elsinore Theatre and for Enlightened Theater in Salem. Most recently, he choreographed Oliver! for Salem’s Theater Under the Stars. . He resides in Eugene with his fiancé, Mark, and their fur baby, Princeton.
