00:25 Today's topic will be Airbnb versus Real Estate photography. Okay, so that's Airbnb photography versus Real Estate photography, guys. Let me say there is a distinct difference between the two regarding showcasing properties through photography.

00:53 The goals of Airbnb hosts and real estate agents couldn't be more distinct. While both aim at potential customers, their target audience, objectives, and visual strategies differ significantly. So, in this podcast, we'll be talking about the critical differences between Airbnb photography and real estate photography, and we'll also highlight their unique purposes and techniques.

01:20 I am an Airbnb photographer. I do Airbnbs all over Texas. I've been asked to visit Dallas, Austin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio. I have people tell me we hire you because you specifically do Airbnb or short-term rentals, which I photograph for Verbal and hotels.com, and all that good stuff. So this is what this podcast is about, and I'm going to go ahead and jump in so we can understand both of them and their different perspectives.

02:16 Let's get started with Airbnb photography. What is Airbnb photography? What am I thinking as an Airbnb photographer? What are my goals when I go out there to achieve and capture when I go to, say, an apartment, a home, a condo, a mansion, a ranch-style home, or whatever your Airbnb is?

If I could get that emotional appeal and images that are inviting, they're going to be where customers are coming back over and over again. If I could create those images, then it would be a win-win for my host and the owner of this Airbnb.
