Absolutely Epic!
Some people may see from my name that I am actually one of the sound designers on the show so I won't be reviewing that aspect.
I do however thoroughly believe that this show is absolutely flawless in its performances, music and writing. Kurt (and later Nadia too) does an amazing job at bringing together identifiable, individual characters that flout the normal rules of writing whilst also feeling cohesive and realistic. There's something for everyone here and you'll find yourself becoming attached to a favourite character VERY quickly (mine's Taruk).
The music is PHENOMENAL and I really feel as though Adam should get some kind of dope award for the work he does here, I feel as though the music would stand up in a Hollywood feature!!
The acting if great, the only thing I've really noticed are a couple of varying pronunciations from different actors (but when working with their own language and weird places such as Hymmerthral, who can blame them!?) and the fact that Bri's accent goes from being strongly Gathish (Irish) to very small amounts of Gathish tinge in there but again, people do lose their accents when they travel away from home for a long while!
If you're looking for a soothing yet intense comfort audiodrama with strong relevant themes in today's society and fabulous characters, story and music. THIS IS FOR YOU.
