For 31 years, a serial killer terrorized the citizens of Wichita, Kansas. A true sexual sadist who didn’t care about the victim: Men, women, and children alike were slaughtered by the man who taunted police with letters and phone calls, and eluded capture for over three decades. Self-named "BTK" - for "bind them, torture them, kill them," it would be his narcissism and need for media attention that would finally end the deadly reign in 2004. Aileen Wuornos, a prostitute in Florida in the late 90's early 2000's,  was known to pick up men on the interstate from North Florida (Orlando) area all the way down to southwest Florida.  Her goal? To steal from these men and get more money by selling herself for sexual requests.  However, this was not the case for 7 men, whose lives were taken by Aileen and left for dead either in their cars/trucks, or off somewhere half-clothed or naked.  Aileen became a fugitive with her girlfriend and was later caught by handprints and fingerprints left at the scene.  This episode covers Aileen’s past, and what dubbed her “America’s First Female Serial Killer.”  Chief and Andrea will discuss her court case and her result of the death penalty.  Please take a seat and get ready for a breakdown of Florida’s Monster.

We want to take you back to LA in the ’80s, more specifically the summertime.  California was known for its nightlife, movie/entertainment business, and its serial killers.  With all the serial killers that have been identified throughout the ages, this one we are about to discuss was much different than the rest.  He did not hunt, nor did he take the innocent hitchhiker, or stroll campus grounds for his pray.  Instead, he went into the sanctuary of individual's homes through an unlocked door or window.  And when he made it in, you became the target.  It did not matter what age you were, what gender you were, and what race you were.  If you were there that night, in the home when this man approached, you were going to be humiliated, assaulted, murdered, or even worse, beaten so badly that one would become unrecognizable. Listeners, this will not be an easy episode to hear.  This man, we are about to talk about, makes Bundy and Dahmer look like the Easter Bunny.  So, buckle up listeners, we are about to introduce Richard Ramirez, also known as The Night Stalker.
