The Butterfly Effect Episode 9 Rebuilding the NDIS and trust

  • Summary

  • For a long time politicians and government have been in the same category as used car salesmen or snake oil pushers. It is assumed there is dishonesty and corruption. I know there are those men and women who do dedicate their lives to service of the community and its a tireless and often thankless job. However many people dont take their vote seriously or choose to vote because they dont believe who they get will make any difference. In many countries the pandemic created even further anger from the people. For me it astounds me that the healthcare system especially the NDIS and the aged care system isnt the top priority. Now with robodebt and class actions for NDIS looming is it any wonder that trust has eroded. The system seems disjointed, silo'ed from itself and designed to protect themselves in preference to the people. The word trust and NDIS has been used much and how to build trust in a system that many are wondering if it will survive is certainly a challenge.
