After all that... Do we recommend The Artist's Way? Has it changed our lives? Yes, undoubtedly, but in ways we never imaginged.

This is a slightly more serious recap episode where we run through the highs, the lows, the changes and the tips and advice we have to share. As you'll hear from the introduction at the beginning, there's a trigger warning as we discuss topics in this episode around the use of language in the book that touches on eating disorders, suicide and miscarriage which we know are very upsetting topics. Although we don't share personal stories, we do mention the language used by Julia in the book. If you'd like to skip that part it's from approximately 37 minutes to approximately 40 minutes, and I've added support links below.

Week 10 of the much acclaimed program created by Julia Cameron. This week Rua feels attacked, Hells looks into sociopathy whilst we become more sure than ever that Julia's on to something.

The theme of this week is Recovering a sense of self protection. We discuss the Dangers of the Trail, Workaholism, Drought and Fame & Competition. We also chat about our love for our Queen Dolly Parton and when Hells will be making a debut with her balaclava.

We had a slight pause on the artists way, but we explain all in this episode. Hells is painting and full of unstoppable inspiration, Rua is by the sea and trying to be calm and zen.

We discuss starting new things and how the time is going to pass anyway, and how small steps inevitably lead to big changes.

Rua gets an education on what an art school CRIT is (and it's a firm no thank you) and Hells learns what a Big Hairy Audacious Goal is.

In week 7 of us following the much Artist's Way program by Julia Cameron, Hells returns from living her best life in Tuscany and ends up locked in a toilet in London (which makes for some interesting audio quality and lack of oxygen). Meanwhile Rua gets surprises herself by getting on stage to perform at an event in Dalston.
