Our guest for today is Silvia Colloca, a professional opera singer and actress, TV host of 'Cook Like an Italian' and author of five best selling Italian cook books and a mother of 3 very beautiful kids.

Silvia knows everything about Italian cuisine and is authentic as they come.

Silvia was bred in Milan, she started her career in acting and singing, which is where she met her husband Richard Roxburgh, before she moved to Sydney Australia to start her family and continue her career.

Silvia's food is all about honest, traditional and no-fuss Italian home cooking.

She shares her love of Italian home cooking and recipes past down to her through generations from her grandmother and mother and shares them through her cookbooks and show on SBS food, Cook Like An Italian.

I'm looking forward to chatting with Silvia about her journey with food as well as her love for singing and acting.
