Terra/LUNA was more than just another meme coin – it was a movement. The goal was to take the technology of decentralized finance to the next level. But let’s be clear, this story was as much about human nature as it was about technology. This story will take a deeper dive into the age-old emotional drivers of Fear and Greed, plus other behavioral finance patterns that seem to be amplified by the volatility of crypto. In walking you through Terra/LUNA’s meteoric rise and historic collapse will help you understand the basic science behind cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, and different blockchains through the relatively brief history of the space. Between the recordings of Twitter Spaces and scrolling through different tweets, we’ll help you understand the evolution of the LUNA movement and why this project had so much momentum, and how the founder himself flew too close to the Sun. We hope to occasionally interview key community members to discuss how their lives before, during, and after the crash.
