    experience in all aspects of the wired and wireless communications businesses. This includes
    lobbying state legislatures, the U.S. Congress and the FCC, channel acquisition, site
    development, FCC applications and filings, business planning and development as well as
    operations.
    Among many efforts around the communications industry over the years, Phil has contributed to the buildout and operations of several different businesses. Some of the most notable include working alongside Father Bruce Merrill, they franchised and developed Cable TV systems all
    over the country including in hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Chief responsibility was operation
    of 12 Cable TV systems all over the state of Arizona. Also was responsible for one of the earliest
    wireless subscription television services in the country. Company made a household word out
    of unknown HBO in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. Company was sold to the Times Mirror
    Corporation in 1983. They were truly the pioneers of cable television.
