TSFU Ep. 168- TRAFFICKED: Amanda Rabb's Virtuality Reality Nightmare

  • Summary

  • It's finally here folks, the intro to Ash's obsession for the last seven+ months... the case of Amanda Rabb.

Amanda Rabb, a young Black woman experiencing homelessness and drug addiction on the streets of Skid Row in Los Angeles, California, appeared on the hit YouTube channel, Soft White Underbelly, in December of 2019. She was heavily featured on the channel and became someone that the audience was heavily invested in. "Mental health expert" Lima Jevremovic came on the channel in August of 2020 touting a new virtual reality therapy that she had come up with that could cure addiction, mental health issues, homelessness and more... and it seemed that her and Mark Laita, owner of the Soft White Underbelly channel, already had a "guinea pig" in mind.

This is the introduction to Amanda's story and the insane web surrounding her tragic death.

Ash also discusses addiction and suicide stats post election and her journey through the different phases of relapse.
