It is labeled as a “dispute” only because she is my wife; in fact, there was no “dispute” since I discovered the theft only after she was gone (but before her plane was to take off). I was able to get into the apartment because I had told the woman at the front desk to send a locksmith before driving my wife to the airport."

    A little backdrop of my story. I was in a romance scam that lasted 2 1/2 months and it ended 8 months ago. I met him on Tinder and lost $26,000. I almost lost $50,000 more but when I went to take money out of my retirement account, I told my financial advisor the whole story and he said he thought I might be in a romance scam.

    When I ended it, I made a quick decision to live my life to the fullest and started advocating. I am also a comedy improv performer.
