Sukkot Day 6: Traditions and Hope

  • Summary

  • From 5783 Day 6 was actually a Shabbat, so it had double meaning for us inside the sukkah. I spoke about the value of and the inherent dangers of traditions. When traditions block or inhibit what they were intended to enhance, it's time to dump them, but until then, if they help, let them stand!

Also a reading from Ecclesiastes 6. And where is (true) hope?
