Originally aired in December 2021, this episode provides timeless insights into why every business should incorporate blogging into their marketing strategy. With the increasing unreliability of social media platforms, Sasha emphasizes the importance of owning your content and building a robust online presence through blogging. Key Takeaways: Diversify Your Marketing Channels: The instability of social media platforms highlights the need for diverse marketing strategies. Blogs offer a reliable way to maintain visibility and control over your content. Provide Additional Value to Clients: Blogs are a fantastic way to showcase your expertise and provide valuable information to both current and potential clients. Building a "like, know, trust" factor through consistent, valuable content. Leverage Pinterest for Traffic: Pinterest can serve as an excellent funnel for driving traffic to your blog. The long shelf life of Pinterest pins can keep your content relevant and visible for years. Improve Google Visibility and SEO: Regular blogging helps improve your website’s domain authority and visibility on search engines. Using proper keywords and consistently updating your site boosts its relevance in search results. Grow Your Email List: Blogs are an effective tool for encouraging visitors to join your email list. Email lists are a direct way to communicate with your audience without relying on social media algorithms. Repurpose Content: Blogging allows you to repurpose content across different platforms, making your marketing efforts more efficient and far-reaching. It caters to different audience preferences, ensuring your message is accessible in multiple formats. Action Item: Consider how blogging fits into your business strategy. Identify one or two pieces of content you’ve already created that can be transformed into blog posts. To build comfort and consistency, start with a manageable goal of blogging once a month. Not what I was expecting

I’ve listened to a lot of strategy books and the title of this one caught my attention. Sadly, this is not an audiobook. It opens with 3 back to back adverts for the creators other work. it then turns into an interview style low-grade podcast of two women chatting about Instagram reels. I feel totally robbed.
