Stages of Grief: Stage 4 Depression

  • Summary

  • Welcome back to this week’s episode of From Ashes to Grace. Life is busy so I’m STILLLLLL working on optimizing my podcast. As mentioned last week, it and my business will most likely be named Sacred Sunsets. I’m really excited for the direction this is going. I really want to thank those of you who have participated in my market research for this. I’ve had 14 responses so far which is amazing! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

This week’s episode is the 4th of a 5 part series on the stages of Grief. So far we’ve covered the stages of Denial, Anger, and Bargaining. This week, we will be covering Depression, the 4th stage of grieving. Remember that though there are 5 stages, not everyone experiences every stage and no one person experiences each stage the same. Also, these stages are not linear. Your experience of grief can jump around and revisit stages at times. With the willingness to experience and work through your grief, the depth of the grief experienced will lessen in time. Not being willing to face the grief and work through it will lengthen and deepen your experience of grief.
