Spiritual Wisdom: Bhakti - Yoga of Divine Love

By: Rohit Juneja
  • Summary

  • In this Podcast we discuss Bhakti - the yoga of Divine Love. Its teachings are based on Sanathan Dharma or the Eternal Dharma of humanity as presented in the ancient sacred texts from India called the Vedas, written around 3000 BC.

The Vedas are the origin of what is popularly known as Hinduism or Sanathan Dharma.

For thousands of years, the greatest thinkers, philosophers and gurus have been ardent followers of the Vedic Wisdom.

I believe that the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavatam, contain a profound message to help us deal with the chaos and darkness in our world today.

It is a practical path to spiritual awakening through yoga or union with the divine.

This is NOT religion. It is the eternal dharma or nature of the self. It is path to self-discovery, a wisdom school, that presents multiple ideologies to enhance your spiritual process without the need to belong or believe anything.

We discuss meditation, reincarnation, karma, enlightenment, self-realization, divine love or love of God and so much more. If you are a spiritual seeker then this program might be just what you are looking for.

Bhagavad Gita Ch. 3: Freedom From Karma

Arjuna is still confused. He wants to retire from active life and be a monk. But Krishna says, “no. Do your dharma, your duty and fight! But do it in a spirit of renunciation and offer all the results to the Supreme. This is the best purification. By working without attachment, one attains the Supreme. destination”

Performing sacrifices for the pleasure of the Divine or God, guarantees freedom from karmic reactions. A self-realized person never gives up his or her duty. He acts for the sake of welfare of others.

Everyone must engage in some sort of activity in this material world. But actions can either bind one to this world or liberate one from it. By acting for the pleasure of the Supreme, without selfish motives, one can be liberated from the law of karma (action and reaction) and attain transcendental knowledge of the self and the Supreme.

Bhagavad Gita" Ch. 2b: The Path of Enlightenment

Here Krishna talks about the qualities of a highly evolved person and how to attain them.
He gives Arjun specific skills on
    > how to tolerate the ups and downs of life,
    > how to deal with the incessant flow of desires,
    > how to deal with success and failure, and
    > how to remain equipoised in all situations that life throws at us.

    What is the Bhagavad Gita?
The Bhagavad Gita (The Divine Song) was written 3000 BC by Vyasa. It is a discussion between Krishna and Arjuna, on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, India.

The Gita is considered by spiritual gurus to be the oldest, wisest and most powerful spiritual teaching in the world. It presents a practical path to enlightenment/awakening/self-realization through union with the divine. It speaks about various processes that lead to spiritual evolution culminating in divine love or bhakti-yoga.

The Gita delves into a wide range of topics including meditation, the soul, reincarnation, karma, God, divine love and so much more.

If you want to learn how to master this human existence and become free from suffering, then this program is meant for you.

I consider the Gita to be the most important instruction for any spiritual seeker. It contains the perfect message to help us deal with the chaos and darkness in our world today. I look forward to you joining us.

    Apr 26 2023

Bhagavad Gita" Ch. 2a: The Qualities of the Soul

Arjuna submits to Lord Krishna as His disciple, and Krishna begins His teachings to Arjuna by explaining the fundamental distinction between the temporary material body and the eternal spiritual soul.

Krishna tells him that the soul cannot be killed and is immortal. After the death of the body the soul goes into another body and one who is wise is not disturbed by such a change of bodies. This is what we now refers to as reincarnation or transmigration of the soul.

We also discuss the qualities of the soul and how to connect with it in our daily life.
