Tommy Cullen took some time out of his busy release schedule to chat about what he loves most about music, music as a way of communicating with the world and making sense of your own inner reality, along with his experience of releasing music and some bugbears from the world of music criticism.

Sharon Murphy and Sadhbh O’Sullivan (aka Sive) are singer-songwriters, community musicians and music and wellness practitioners. Not only that, but they are truly lovely, fascinating people with a beautiful perspective on creating music and working with non-musicians to create music as a form of wellness practice.

We discuss how they got in to playing and creating music, the struggles but also the beauty and sense of achievement attached to working with community groups, and also the challenges faced with the COVID years and how easy it is for the work of music for wellbeing to lead you to forget your own wellbeing. We also discuss inspiration and the light and playful attitude that one needs to take to a creative undertaking.

Their community project Embrace Music Ireland runs events, workshops and is currently engaged in a residency with weekly outreaches in the Acre Project, Cellbridge, Co.Kildare.
