    meadowhip (pronounced 'meadow-whip') is the solo project of Wollongong musician-poet-calamity queen, Cara Walkam. A musical project that was born during Cara's recovery from a major hemorrhagic stroke in 2019, meadowhip is an exploration of self and society from Cara’s perspective. Osker got the chance to sit-down with meadowhip, dialing in from Wollongong, to chat about her latest acoustic EP 'Inside Out'. meadowhip discusses the difficulties of making an entire project without software and samples, the source of the writing on this project (including the truth behind who the song David is about), co-writing with friend and collaborater Minhy during lockdowns back in the pandemic years + so much more!
