A few weeks ago, news surfaced that would shake reptile enthusiasts, exotic pet owners, and animal lovers to their core. In Florida, officers of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service went in and killed over 30 snakes that belonged to someone. While under orders to euthanize all (now considered illegal) Burmese and Reticulated Pythons, they accidentally also killed a pregnant boa constrictor. The released footage has caused an uproar all over the internet and has people calling for actions to be taken.

Not only handling sloths, but many other exotic animals (including snakes), we react to the latest news of this tragedy and try to figure out how best to process what's going on and what we can do to prevent something like this from ever happening again.
