Some do so to engage in advanced scientific research, including testing the limits of the space time continuum to avoid public humiliation. Others come to trade goods they gathered from the far corners of the galaxy, like violent alien parasites. While others seeks to offer their services in defense of humanity, with limited success. Whatever their reasoning, it all makes for excellent audio content.
