  • The episode opens with Luke having his own encounter with George and Gladys that leaves him unnerved. Afterward, the Travelers find themselves in a tense standoff with a gang called the Oil Rats as they desperately try to escape Bakersfield. A risky negotiation with the gang’s leader, Rusty Ray, tests the group's resolve. As tensions rise, the Travelers must decide how far they’re willing to go to fix their car and continue their journey—at a cost far greater than expected.
