This year’s race was filled with some major ups and downs. Both of which made for a great experience and lessons learned. I rode a good race and enjoyed the course even more on the second loop (the first loop was spent getting into a good flow).

Thanks for the Groundshakers MC for putting on a great race and spending countless hours getting things organized for us to come race. This year’s course was amazing and really showed just how vast the terrain can be in Nevada. He sold his 4 Runner to buy he and his boy bikes. Now that’s commitment! But that was only the beginning for his dirt bike journey. On today’s show, we interview my good friend Jake Bozarth. Jake grew up riding at a young age and watched in wonder as his cousins would race. It was not until three decades later that he decided to sign up for his own, first, desert race (with a little peer pressure).
