  • Triggered Again: Understanding Our Reactions to Kids' Behaviors (With Elisabeth Corey)
    Sep 17 2024

Trauma survivor Elisabeth Corey returns to ‘Unruffled’ to share healing insights she's gained from her intense struggles as a parent of twins. The emotional reactions our kids stir up in us can take us by surprise. Worse, they can keep us feeling stuck repeating dynamics with our kids that seem to be driving us apart. We often know how we "should" respond but can't remain calm enough to do that in the moment! As Elisabeth explains, our reactions are often indicators of past hurts that need healing, and she inspires us to explore them with curiosity and self-compassion, showing us the way in this episode.

Life changing advice!

I've listened to Janet's books and quite a few of these podcasts, it's absolutely life changing. I've implented a lot of the advice given for my nearly 3 year old and we are seeing some fantastic results, he also seems so much happier and connected to me, I haven't lost my temper in months, even his dad is picking up and implementing the things I'm doing and their relationship is even stronger now too. Overall, I'm going to keep listening and following Janet's advice. I love that they're small bite sized information, which I find very easy to digest and put into practice. Thankyou janet!

New episodes suddenly unavailable??

I absolutely adore this podcast, it's changing our lives. but why, after 266 episodes, are new episodes "no longer included in my membership"?? are you guys at audible seriously saying I need to use a £7.99 credit EVERY TIME I want to listen to a half hour episode?! That's ridiculous, I'm baffled and annoyed 😒
