Happy New Year. We discuss the new trailers and expected releases in 2025. From Death of a Unicorn to Superman and including Mission Impossible 8, Karate Kid, 28 Years Later, Jurassic World Rebirth and many others. We go off the rails and joke about things I should've edited out but never mind. The first film we are all going to see in 2025 is likely to be Nosferatu which we are all excited about.

With our regular Special Guest Michael, today's spoiler review is our thoughts on the recent Netflix Movie about a TSA agent who checks the 'carry-on' baggage at an airport when a threat forces him to allow a dangerous bag through without alerting anyone. How will this pan out? We have very different thoughts on this movie and enjoy a laugh during when we compare to other movies as well as Christmas movies.

A fun episode discussing the best movies of last year, we also reflect on the podcast and shout out our many guests. Drew arrives a little late but with a great Sigourney Weaver story from last week in London. We discussed Xmas a little and an inventive gift James bought his son Reef. We then review the 2 films we watched in the cinema this week: Sonic 3 and Kraven The Hunter which we both enjoyed.

A rare moment when all 3 of us have watched the same film that week. Fairly new to Netflix is M3GAN which we all had different opinions going into it. Kev especially expected it to be terrible but I think most were pleasantly surprised. We discuss the actors, the theme and the sequel coming out next year. We compare to other films which distract us a little but ultimately this film has more going for it than the TikTok dance that made it famous.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Rage Whale. Our very first Xmas Special Episode. Our regular guest Michael joins us to tell us about his trip last week taking the family to Paris to visit Disney Land. We then discuss our favourite toys we got as kids as well as the movies that make us feel in a Christmas mood which aren't necessarily Xmas movies. We do deviate as usual into conspiracies, bringing up themes not related to this time of year but relevant to the news and drama going on regarding celebrity scandals. We have a Keanu Reeves story for you and end our episode on parenting in the modern age as well as our favourite Xmas movies whilst debating what is or isn't considered a Christmas movie. I don't think we solved that one.

We pick up from where we left off in the previous episode except this time we make our predictions for the Golden Globe awards when it comes to TV series, movies and actors. We also discuss cancelled gigs, Liquid Death and have some very childish moments.

Kev is hungover but battling through it as we have some important shout outs to do from the recent Spotify Wrapped showing we have some top fans that we truly appreciate. A few new films have been announced and Kneecap takes the Win for the Best British film (when it's an Irish film) at the British Independent Film Awards which we totally agree with. Golden Globe nominees get announced so we go through the categories to make out predictions. We will then revisit after the 5th Jan so see who wins most accurately.

We get caught talking about Spiderman and go down a rabbit hole discussing them all, how they connect and what's coming up next. Including computer games. Kev tries to tell the guys about the new movie on Prime called 'Strange Darling' before realising he can't say very much as everything after the intro to the film are huge spoilers. It is highly recommended though. We deviate onto the Channel 4 series called 'Misfits' and discuss where some of those actors are now, before ending with a rant about Ticketmaster who have a lot to answer for.
