  • Children of the Porn w/ Reggie White
    Nov 14 2022

Hey kids,  We are BACK! This week Randy and Jordan are joined by the inimitable actor/director/queen of the night, Reggie D. White!! We’re chatting about Queen Elizabeth, Leslie Jordan, Bros and more in our Bottom 5. Then we chat about Sara Porkalob and the interview heard round the world (or at least around the theater world). Then, after a stupid quiz, we jump into our Pop Culture Moment. We’re looking at the hot mess that is Twitter and then do a deep dive into internet porn. As always, we end with ConsQUEERacies.  Reggie’s got thoughts on midterm polling, and Jordan’s got his eyes on Taylor Swift and the deep state.  The truth is here, the truth is queer, and she’s in the top 1% of Only Fans content creators.

    May 11 2022

    Hey kids,
We’re back with an all new episode. This week it’s all about Mama! After a long overdue check-in, we jump into a very very very late discussion of the infamous slap heard round the world. (C’mon you know y'all  wanna know what we think). Then, after our newest segment: Slap of the Week!,  we’ve got a new Stupid Quiz all about celebrities and their Moms. Then it’s on to this week’s Pop Culture Moment: the new HBO stand-up special from Jerrod Carmichael entitled Rothaniel.  Spoiler: WE LOVED IT. That leads us into a Deep Dive on Moms and our coming out stories. As always we end with this week’s ConsQUEERacies: Randy’s got some thoughts on New York apartments and their paper thin walls. And Jordan tries to answer the question ‘Is Nick Lachey alive?’ The truth is here. The truth is queer. And Mama, she just killed a man.

    Mar 30 2022

Hey kids, we're back with a new episode. After a nice long check-in, we jump into the Bottom 5 stories of the week. (Well, last week. We'll get to the Oscars and that infamous slap in our next episode). We're talking Ukraine, Prince Philip, Covid Year 3 and of course, Drag Queens. Then we jump into this week's Pop Culture Moment, the HBO series The Gilded Age. What did we love? (The costumes) What did we hate? (The plot). And we answer the question, how many Tony nominees can you fit in one HBO period piece? That takes us into a Deep Dive on the nature of courtship, monogamy, and how two ethical non-monogamists navigate the tricky world of heteronormativity. And as always, we end with our ConsQUEERacies: Randy tries to make a connection between confirmation hearings and witch trials, and Jordan wonders what's really going on with these Senators and their obsession with destroying a Black woman's reputation. The truth is here. The truth is queer. And she is reclaiming her time.

  • She Doesn't Even Go Here!
    Mar 15 2022

Hey kids, it's time to go back to school on this week's episode. First, we have a convo about sitcoms as social commentary, and we learn just how much TV Jordan has watched in his life. (Hint: It's embarrassingly high). Then we're talking all things Abbott Elementary. We talk about the fantastic new ABC sitcom and look at how it picks up where shows like The Office and Parks and Rec left off with it's documentary style. And we sing the praises of that killer cast, the brilliant writing, and show creator Quinta Brunson. Then after a new Stupid Quiz, we go back in time to our elementary school days, and give thanks (and a few no-thank-yous) to the teachers that shaped us into the dysfunctional queerdos we are today. As always, we end with ConsQUEERacies. Jordan has some theories about the intersection of Snatch Game and The Gilded Age, and Randy makes one up on the spot! The truth is here. The truth is queer. And she just came out to the whole school at assembly.
