Pedestrian Struck on South Cobb Drive

A man sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car while crossing South Cobb Drive on Sunday night. The accident occurred around 8:15 p.m. near Pearson Middle School, north of Waldrep Circle. The pedestrian, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment. The driver involved, Alanis Navarro from Kennesaw, was not injured in the incident. Cobb Police are currently investigating the accident and are seeking information from the public. Anyone with details is encouraged to contact the Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3987.
