He asked us to chat about Warhammer Games; where they excel, where they could improve, and we decided to talk about our dream Warhammer game.  We're using our much upgraded Blackmagic Studio suite, and we hope the upgrade is noticeable!

In this episode, Logan and Trevor discuss the Odie/Garfield Personality pairing, and how to overcome fear and doubt when it comes to your hobby. Sometimes, we all struggle with the perfection paradigm. You want to try > it won't be as good as someone else > why try? > you don't try > you don't grow > You want to try > repeat.... Sometimes the best way to break that cycle is to understand that failure (although not awesome and generally a bummer deal) is never without its blessings. 

Experience, confidence, growth points, constructive criticism, and humility are all fruit that grow on the tree of failure....a Failure Ficus. Is a Ficus a tree? I'll have to google that...

Anyway, All that to say this: don't let the fear of failure keep you from chasing your interests. Embrace failure. Look at every obstacle and hurdle as a blessing. 

Oh, btw: Ficus (/ˈfaɪkəs/[1] or /ˈfiːkəs/[2][3]) is a genus of about 850 species of woody trees, shrubs, vines, epiphytes and hemiepiphytes in the family Moraceae. Collectively known as fig trees. Boom.

It's no secret the hobby sphere, in general, isn't too happy with some decisions the mega-corp Games Workshop has made recently. From Ban-Hammering loyal content creators, to stifling, even crushing the creativity of people with the audacity to make 3rd party bits…. These big dogs have kind of bitten the hands that feed them.

This invariably leads to alternative solutions. With the advent of 3D printing, and the age-old practice of straight-up yoinking IP via recasting…GW finds themselves in a bit of a pickle.

Finally, when faced with the tumultuous hobby funk surrounding GW..people have chosen to step outside the imposing, (if not admittedly a bit bloated) shadow and find hobby love and enjoyment elsewhere.

Strap in, snag the popcorn and get ready to be triggered (unless you're a reasonable human being, then I'm sure you'll be fine).
