At the end of 1975 country music agent Buddy Lee and concert promoter Danny Davis teamed up to form a new wrestling promotion that will try to take over the Tennessee Territories. They soon are joined by former 6 time NWA World Champion Lou Thesz. They launched the promotion in early 1976 and shortly after they started they realized they were in trouble.
