  • Summary

  • The Copelands were like many other older couples across the landscape of the postwar American South. Ray was an irascible farmer, scraping a meager existence on a farm in rural Missouri. Faye, the dutiful housewife, handled the household finances, and lived in fear of the frequent beatings from her husband. Their domestic life would eventually take a sinister turn. After 5 bodies of their farm hands were found on neighboring farms, Ray and Faye were convicted and sentenced to death, becoming the oldest serial killer couple on death row.
