Former Halifax Citadels forward Ivan Matulik was a draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 1986. There was only one problem. Ivan was born, raised and still living in Czechoslovakia & they weren't keen on upper echelon athletes leaving, so Ivan had to defect. Easier said than done. In part one, we covered Ivan's defection & the start to his career in North America. Here in part two, we'll put a bow on his North American career & explore his time in the UK. Twelve years ago I was stabbed seven times on an uptown #3 subway train by a fugitive spree-killer. I decided to fight back. I had no choice since the two police officers who were mere feet away & specifically on the train to arrest the fugitive decided to hide for their own safety & do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING until I took him down & disarmed him. You'll hear all the details & my subsequent attempt at justice when I tried to bring my case to court.

This is a long one folks but if you want to know ALL the details, especially the stuff NYC & the NYPD wish you didn't know, get comfortable & press that play button.
