This album showcases his wide-ranging and genre-bending compositional talents in formats ranging from solo piano to full bands with complete string orchestras. With a discography well-received by the critics and public alike, Gold has made a remarkable series of compositions that will appeal to be the “serious” jazz listener as well as to the casual audience. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, it all took root with legend Joe Henderson and went on in an interesting timeline of action. These days, he is also currently working on film and TV scoring. It’s quite a story. Dig in.
