Dan's reporting is the likely opponent will be former title challenger Daud Yordan.

    Jan. 27, 2001 — 24 years ago on Monday – Five of the 2000 U.S. Olympians turned pro on HBO at the MSG Theater on a hugely hyped fight.card. In the end, none of them did anything other than Jermain Taylor, who would became the undisputed middleweight champion. Dan has stories, including about Pernell Whitaker that weekend.
