My Time Capsule

By: Cast Off Productions
  • Summary

  • A podcast that asks guests, such as Stephen Fry, David Mitchell, Caroline Quentin, Ross Noble, Lee Mack, Arabella Weir & Rob Brydon, for five things which they’d like to put in a Time Capsule. They can choose anything from an item, to a memory, a film or even a country. Four of them are things they want to preserve but one has to be something they’re happy to bury and never have to think about again.

    Hosted by Michael Fenton Stevens.

Podcast of the Week in The Times, The Guardian and The Radio Times.

Charming and pleasantly surprising

Mike is a perfect host who brings out the best by truly engaging with his guests and with listeners. I've been genuinely surprised by certain guests that I wouldn't have guessed were so interesting or entertaining.
The podcast has been a real bright spot over the past two years and hope it continues for years to come. Highlights if you want to dip in - Barry Cryer, Anna Chancellor, Stephen K Amos, Josie Lawrence.

Delightfully funny

The time capsule concept is simple yet very effective.
Four positive things from a person's life and one thing they never want to see again are chosen to be placed in the time capsule.
The host is superbly good at his job and the unscripted format with no boundaries leads to some wonderfully insightful objects being chosen.
This episode is quite funny.
Well I laughed.
Like a drain..
