    It was a tragic epidemic, newborn babies being discarded in the waterways surrounding Moline. The first one was February 28th, 1992, known as Baby Leap Year. Baby April was found April 11th, 1992 followed the next year by Baby September on September 12th, 1993. Over the course of 8 years, 14 deceased newborns were found around the Quad Cities. This is the story of how we brought answers to the babies, gave them their surnames and blessed their souls by never giving up on their cases.
