What connects us

This is excellent one of the best podcasts on Audible. It's a run of interviews of people who have used their minds in incredibly successful and inspiring ways, to beat the odds and create something true, be it legal help for those who need it the most, stand up comedy, dance and more. They are interviewed by American rapper, actor, and writer Common, who draws great responses out of them. This is powerfully about voices in the black community, but it is for everyone, at heart it is about what connects us all. I haven't heard matters of faith, justice, and the heart talked about in such an authentic way for a long time. I am praying for another season of this. Just brilliant

Absolutely Fantastic !

What a fabulous collection of conversations. it was like going to church listening to Common and his guests delving deep. I loved the cool old school swagger vibe with the music and the lyrical way Common interacted with his guests. This was truly a mental and spiritual feast! Thank you Common and Audible.

Truly inspiring

He begins with a freestyle introduction to the artist, and ends with a chosen hip-hop verse that sums up that artist. In between, he allows the inspirational light of the artist shine.
