Our focus is principled so each episode reflects the immediate peace and stability of our Ever-Present Knowing Awareness that clarifies conflicted impressions manifest by the instability and hyper-reactivity of obsessive thinking. This form of thought is purely imagined and sleepwalking is the consequence. Accurately noticing wrongs dissolves them rather than subject the subjective thinker to make things worse by making up new ways to maintain them by trying to feel better about them or trying to get over them. Feeling wrong does not make us wrong but indicates our thinking is wrong. This does not confirm that what and how we think is real, or right, only that our imaginative capacity can manifest daydreams that can feel like nightmares even while thinking we’re awake. Daydreams are seldom observed since when we think and thus feel like we're in them. Thinking how we think is all we are and thus reality causes the same effect of feeling like we’re in thoughts. Some evidence of this is saying we’re stuck in thought, stuck in our head, and begin to imagine thoughts have a life of their own so they can be, or are, intrusive and attacking us - as though we've imbued them with a life of their own. Awakening from any nightmare offers relief once it is realized that it was only a dream. Choosing to imagine how we think is Reality comes with all the same consuming effects of dreams since obsessive thoughts are imagined to be true. If those effects had any actual basis they would not vanish so quickly once we awaken. Thoughts are imagined and cause effects. Our brain thinks, feels, and generates words and other voluntary actions. We choose how to use our thinking process. We do not create reality we are designed to transform existing reality. Thinking about thinking incorrectly and imagining it to be right is a seed that will corrupt all subsequent thoughts and our experience.

    Emotional sobriety is the daily reprieve from induced insanity. The possibility to think wrong thoughts are right is constant - since we are free to choose what and how we think. Addiction’s promise suggests that the problem will one day be the absolute solution. This absolution never comes, since it is a lie; it is impossible. If all things possible are possible then thinking we shouldn’t be doing what we're doing, while doing what we’re doing, leads to more complications and confusion. Having things as they are is to have something that can be let go of. When it comes to imagining wrong thoughts will one day be right the smashing blow is facing delusion as nothing more than what and how we think of it, now. We know what is right so know what is wrong and if we didn’t we wouldn’t suffer from thinking we don’t.

    All that happens, happens in the present. Now is where problems are manifest, effects are felt, and honest awareness dissolves delusion.

    The unholy trinity:
    Obsessive thinking is a lie imagining:
    1. We have nothing to do with it.
    2. There is nothing we can do about it.
    3. We can do no more than excuse the same sorry, sick thought and behavior.

    Obsessive thoughts try to perfect the self we think we are. Since this "self" is born of thought it is a thought thinking of it-self - not our Self. Like Narcissus falling in love with his image this seeming self-centeredness is actually thought centered narrowly focused obsessively on reflections of more and more thought. Narcissus was thus kept from loving those who loved him by his chronic fascination with his image. Imagining that imagination creates reality rather than noticing that existence in all its forms is a product of reality, not its creator. The idea that thoughts create reality is a lie leading to the sensation that our life depends on obsessively maintaining this idea rather than noticing the conflicted effects indicate otherwise - and undermine our physical ability to function, survive, and thrive. Imagine that. Our contemplative advantage is turned into an intolerable sleepwalking daydream turned into a nightmare that only seems hard to imagine we could possibly have anything to do with.

    Thinking that thought will get us there is to think we are not here. If we are here there is no then or there to get nor is there any more or less of this, or that, to have. To not have what we have is to think we have to have something else, somewhere else in an amount that can never be achieved. To maintain this thought is the source of addiction since more or less will never be enough and when enough is never enough there is no hope. Hopelessness in this case is an accurate assessment of an impossible condition. The condition is not the problem. It is our choice to maintain the claim it is all we can do so we blame “it” for being the problem while our insistence to maintain such thoughts equals the persistent experience. As long as we act as though we have nothing to do with the idea automatically thinking there is nothing we can do about it is used to justify continuing to do what seems to be the only thing possible. This deception underlies all compulsive behaviors and leads to suicide in obvious or less dramatic compulsive ways. Induced insanity manifests anxiety, pressure, and stress that undermines all of our bodily ability to maintain stability. When insane thoughts attempt to have rational ideas maintain balance it is just another irrational perpetuation of the same induced insanity. Our body knows there is an emergency and the effect is never resolved by pouring more fuel on the fire.

    If essence exists it is essential. To think we can be excluded from what is essential is to look at our world through the upside-down, backward lens of misunderstanding into understanding mistakenly imagined to be reality and truth. Thoughts of this nature are defensive and divisive since they are reactive and only maintained by thinking thought of as reality. Thinking at odds with reality causes chain reactions of mental conflicts, not conflicts with Reality. Inner conflict, emotional turmoil, and mental anguish are body language guiding our awareness of what is wrong. Wrong thoughts are not a chronic problem until they are believed right. The essence of existence is as stable as it is simple since it does not change; True IS True as Reality is Real. Changing thoughts imagined to be real and true causes anxiety and fear and obsessively tries to exact revenge internally and thus externally. The odds of feeling conflicted while acting on such thoughts are 100% while the odds of ever getting even - are zero.
