• Episode 10. It is OK to feel down... sometimes.
    Jun 6 2021
Due to work commitments and life in general, this will be my last episode of the season. I feel like the quality in the episodes has started to drop. As well as this, it takes so much time to do all the research and it can be quite exhausting and a lot to take in. On this episode, I talk about how it is OK to sometimes feel down. It is natural and as long as you don't let whatever makes you feel down have a long lasting effect on you...it is OK. If you feel like something in your life-whether it has happened in the past or is currently happening to you now that may have a long lasting negative effect on you, then there are people who can help-some of who have dedicated their whole professional lives to understanding the mind and how we function. The more we naturally talk about any negative feelings or emotions that we may be going through, the easier our lives could be. Over the past 18 weeks, I have talked about a lot of different things that can contribute towards poor Mental Health as well as things that can be done to improve it. I have mentioned some facts and statistics that are quite shocking. I do believe that we can change all this with more understanding which is what I am trying to put across. Thank you to anyone that has listened and supported me with all of this. As stated, I will be back in three months time. Negative emotions do not have to have a long lasting impact on your life. 10% is what happens in life. 90% is how you react to it. Why are some people able to cope with problems better than others? Is it possible to let negative thoughts go? Can you control the way you feel?

I give a couple of examples of when I planned ahead myself and experienced beautiful moments instead of sadness. https://muksblogaboutstuff.blogspot.com/2020/12/christmas-day-at-dovestones-part-one.html?m=1&zx=eb028196fb0b9732
