However, Mariota’s job security is far from a sure thing, considering the Falcons drafted former Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder in the third round of the latest NFL Draft, who’s seemingly poised to claim Atlanta’s starting quarterback job sometime in the near future. Atlanta’s offense is going to look completely different this season, as not only will the Falcons have a new face under center, but they also parted ways with crucial pass-catchers in WR Russell Gage and TE Hayden Hurst; along with their top wideout Calvin Ridley serving a year-long suspension due to gambling violations.
