In this second episode, we continue where we left off just before the Covid-19 pandemic hit and turned everything up side down. Unfortunately for us, it was just the beginning of a long and a very expensive chain of events.

In 2017, we began planning an epic "trip of a lifetime" safari in Africa, to celebrate a milestone birthday set for June 2020. Social media introduced us to the company we would eventually book with, and though we had our doubts, we were all set when the pandemic hit and turned the world upside down. Three years later, in 2023, we finally set foot on the continent, but it was far from smooth sailing. In this first episode, we set up the trip, explain how we decided on the countries, the camps, the excursions and some of the shady business we encountered.
