  • Ep 60. Overcoming Procrastination, Perfectionism and Self-doubt with Lauren Tilden
    Jul 22 2024

Hello and welcome back to the Mad Marketing Mums podcast.

Today, we're tackling some of the biggest mental barriers and mindset blocks that small business owners face when it comes to marketing their business: procrastination, perfectionism, and self-doubt.

These challenges can be a major roadblock for your business - holding you back from showing up confidently and connecting with your customers and clients in the online world.

Joining us to tackle these issues head on is Marketing Coach + podcast host, Lauren Tilden, who will be sharing her expertise and practical advice on how to overcome these hurdles, so you can enhance your marketing efforts and grow your business effectively.

We'll be exploring several key questions, including:

    1. What behavioural patterns do small businesses exhibit when it comes to procrastination, perfectionism, and self-doubt in their marketing efforts, and how are these interconnected?
    2. Why do small business owners often fear and delay marketing?
    3. What are some practical strategies our listeners can use to break these bad habits and improve their marketing mindset?

    Bio
Lauren is a maker, retail shop owner, podcast host, and marketing coach on a mission to help small business owners do better marketing... more consistently.

An ex-corporate marketer, Lauren fell in love with small business through her first small business, the plant-inspired stationery business Good Sheila. A couple of years after starting Good Sheila, she took the reins of the retail shop her mom owned, Station 7. And as of 2020, she hosts Making Good, a podcast for small businesses who want to make a big impact.

Lauren believes that one of the best ways to make a positive impact on the world is through great marketing.
