Lorraine joined us at Auntie’s Table for a deeply meaningful and eye-opening conversation about her personal experience with motor neurone disease (MND).

She bravely chose to share her journey, knowing how important it was to speak while she still had the ability to use her voice.

With grace and vulnerability, she explained what MND is, emphasizing the limited information available and the immense challenges that come with the disease. MND is a rare condition that affects the brain and nerves, causing progressive weakness in the body that worsens over time, with no known cure.

Lorraine’s desire to raise awareness and educate others resonated powerfully with all of us, and her strength in the face of such a difficult diagnosis left us deeply touched and inspired.

I would like to acknowledge the Giraudel Jinping band for the beautiful music you hear before, and after the podcast.

I would also like to acknowledge my editor Alex for all his hard work.
