    Franz Boas was a German-American anthropologist and a pioneer of modern anthropology, who has been called the "Father of American anthropology". He argues that culture develops history through the interaction of groups of people and that there is no process towards a continuum of "higher" cultural forms. In 1887 he emigrated to the United States, where he first worked as a curator at the Smithsonian, and in 1899 he became professor of anthropology at Columbia University, where he remained until the end of his career. She is intelligent, enjoys reading books on philosophy, religion, and politics and finds it interesting to care for sick farmers and domestic animals. Her passion is to secretly read the books on caring for the sick that she has collected, and then to visit hospitals in London and surrounding areas. Florence Nightingale is also remembered as the Woman with the Lamp, the founder of modern nursing, later her date of birth was chosen as "International Nurses Day - May 12".
