  • Episode 12: with Claudia Catlett in Arkansas, USA
    Jul 2 2021

On this week’s episode, our next guest is another friend/mentor that I met whilst on Koh Tao at Ban’s Diving Resort. She has become a role model for me and my friends, I nicknamed her “Mama Claud,” affectionately. Of course, our next guest is Miss Claudia Catlett from Arkansas, United States. Claudia was born in Mexico but was adopted during infancy by a Mexican mom and an American dad. She grew up to join the American Marines as the supply guy, she still gets great thanks every day for her service. Post-service, she attended college but at age 23 her path was changed when she was in a motorcycle accident. The accident severed her left arm and, tragically, it could not be reattached. Claudia shares the entire story with our listeners as well as her path to healing. She tells the story of how she and her boyfriend, Grant, met and how they ended up becoming scuba diving instructors together. For our listeners that know Claudia and Grant, this episode is a treat. For listeners that don’t, this woman has been through everything you could imagine and has persevered through it all. Her story is a beautiful one. Enjoy :)

  • Episode 11: with Kat Frati in NH, USA
    Jun 25 2021

On this week’s episode, Jessie is joined by a dear family friend and professional life coach: Kat Frati! Kat is the first American Jessie has brought on the podcast!  As a life coach Kat has a wealth of knowledge, life experience, and compassion for helping young people. Kat graduated from Tufts university and started her career as a software engineer, but after 16 years in the business and 4 children later, Kat was feeling burnt out. She turned to the Clifton Strengths to help her find her path forward. She’s now a Gallup-certified Strengths coach and works with young adults on how to use their “strengths” to their advantage. Her thought process is, “If you put all your energy towards fixing your weaknesses you will still only end up being average.” By tapping into our strengths we, as individuals, can live up to our very best potential. Kat was one of the very first people to encourage Jessie to create a podcast and has been it’s biggest fan and supporter ever since!

    May 21 2021

On this week’s episode of “Let it Flow” Jessie’s next guest is a freelance freediving instructor and underwater photographer: Tony Myshlyaev (aka @tones.ofblue)! Tony was born in the south of Ukraine close to the Black Sea, and at six years old his family moved to Vancouver, Canada. Now 32 years old, Tony left home to travel at 24 to pursue his travels and photography.  Eventually, like so many do, he found Koh Tao, Thailand and has been living on and off the island for the past 7 years. As a formally trained fine art photographer, Tony loves to shoot portraits in natural environments. Eventually he combined his two loves, freediving and underwater photography, and began creating the work that drives him to this day! Tony tells listeners a little about his life, what freediving & photography mean to him, and also gives some  advice for all the “perfectionists” out there. Genuine, patient, and kind; Tony was a joy to speak with and I can’t wait for y’all to get to know him!
